About Monica Maher LCSW

Certified EMDR Therapist

A Message from Monica

As a certified EMDR therapist with specialized training, I support clients navigating post-traumatic stress, high-conflict custody disputes, parental alienation, and various life-changing events.

My work is grounded in helping you safely process experiences that may feel overwhelming, so you can begin to move forward with greater clarity and stability.

Throughout my career, whether in corrections, child welfare, or acute psychiatric care, I have seen the power of a compassionate, client-centered approach in fostering healing and inner peace. Each setting has deepened my understanding of how trauma impacts individuals and families, and how meaningful change happens when people feel supported and understood.

I am featured on Psychology Today, where you can learn more about my approach, specialties, and how I support clients on their path toward healing and growth.
